Summer

Summer is a time for fun, family, friends, and new experiences. A little learning mixed with lots of fun can help students return to school ready to succeed.
To help maintain important skills, encourage your child to:
- read independently
- enjoy being read to
- practice math facts
- keep a journal
- play games
- help with everyday tasks
- use math in daily activities such as counting, measuring, and shopping.

All ninth graders are expected to have a TI83 or TI84 graphing calculator and earbuds or headphones. Students will receive a list of supplies for their specific classes during the first week of each semester.
