Plymouth Whitemarsh High School flag football team wins SOL Championship

The Plymouth Whitemarsh High School flag football team has won the Suburban One League American Division Championship and finished the season with a 16-2 record.

The team earned the number two seed in the playoffs, beating Neshaminy to make it to the Suburban final before losing to the first seed, North Penn.

The team had three First Team All-League, three Second Team, and five Honorable Mention selections. Junior Quarterback/Defensive Back Liv Patete also won the Suburban One American Conference Player of the Year. The junior varsity team also had a great year and went undefeated for the season. 

This year's team will say goodbye to seven seniors: Kenna Winland, Mia Baron, Marleigh Burton, Mady Esposito, Liv Budin, Lainey Yontef, and Giules Storti. The team is coached by Dan Chang, Bryan Gregg, Ronnie Fry, Saint Martin Torrence, and Kevin Herod.
