Nine Plymouth Whitemarsh High School students are named Commended Students

Nine Plymouth Whitemarsh High School students have been named Commended Students in the National Merit Scholarship Program.

Those students are:

Luce Allen
Jackson De Guzman
Natalie Dyck
Violet Laverty
James Munz
David Palmer
Kirthi Roy
Sachita Upadhya
Jack Yamashita

Commended Students are among the top 34,000 students nationally who have shown exceptional academic promise based on their scores on the 2023 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT). The students were honored at the Oct. 17th School Board meeting for their achievements.
