Don't miss the call!
Don't miss the call!
Fall is officially here and that means winter weather is just around the corner. Be sure that you are all set to receive our communications before that first inclement weather day is announced!
Here's how you can stay up-to-date:
- Complete your registration forms for the 2024-25 school year and update your contact information through PowerSchool. It is very important to do this to ensure that the proper emails and phone numbers are being pulled into our message blast system. You should have received information about logging into PowerSchool to complete your annual review in August, but if you have trouble accessing the portal, contact the main office of your child's building for assistance.
- Download our free app from the App Store or Google Play and sign up for push notifications from your child's building. Click here if you need instructions on how to enable push notifications and customize the app. Please note that students who have their own devices can also download the app and enable push notifications if they want to receive an alert when there are early dismissals, delays, or cancellations.
- Follow us on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter. We will post information about school closures on these social media channels.
We'd like to remind families that when inclement weather leads to school closure, it is possible that a Flexible Instruction Day (FID) would be used. FID days are virtual learning days that can be used so the District meets state requirements for instructional days and hours without adding make-up days to the end of the school year. Learn more about FID days by clicking here.
